We live in a world that is so dependent on signs and wonders to present the worst possible outcome. "Like this post or bad luck for 10 years". "Comment 1-20 or prepare for the worst year of your life". What horrible things to believe in! ​

Often we see signs and wonders as freaky voodoo magic; something to oppose in full force. Yet we serve a God that creates signs and wonders as markers of His handiwork throughout humanity. Rainbows as a reminder of His promise. Doves as a reminder of His peace. Every piece of nature a sign of His vast creation and beauty. 
I got to see the eclipse this week. I've been emotional about it for a few days. It was SO cool. Like. So cool. And all I could think about is, what a blessing it is that God has the ability to remind us that He created this vast world. We get to inhabit this beautiful world, full of sin and chaos and mystery, but that small glimpse of hope is a reminder that God is able to do more. He is in the midst of our deepest cries, showing us signs and wonders of His love. Look up at the sky! Each cloud, each star, each bird a sign of His majesty, a wonder of His love. 
Believe in signs and wonders. Believe in a God who can. And do not fear! Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ WILL come again. Let's not live like it won't happen.
