#relationshipgoals: part 1

Everyone dislikes a multi-part story; I know. This one is important though. I have a really cool video interview coming up that will continue this series and then to finish it off will be a traditional post. After many conversations with friends, I felt the Lord tugging on my heart to talk about relationships. Let's be real here:

Christians are obsessed with relationships. 

Don't get me wrong, relationships foster discipleship which is our calling from Jesus Himself. Our obsession is valid. HOWEVER, within the obsession we have, we have begun to not only obsess over but redefine how we expect relationships to exist. This can create a toxic culture within the body of Christ that can really detrimentally affect how someone views their faith journey.   

What do we do about it?

I was about to write a whole post introducing this series, but then I stumbled across this podcast. If you're looking for a podcast/YouTube channel to tune into, this is it. This guy is truly a servant of Christ and has the most profound ways of explaining scripture. I don't want to say too much because this podcast is where the content lies, so here it is:
